Software & Sr Software Engineer Position in HSBC

Job Description:

•  Work closely with the GLTm/GLTi or Client's team members to communicate product defects and enhancement requests identified during customer interactions.
• Manage multiple complex issues, effectively communicating status and managing timely resolution.
• Coding COBOL programs, Provide technical support for the Client working closely with customer system.

Skills Required:

•  Excellent knowledge in COBOL,DB2,CICS, JCL
•  Experience on strings, unstrings
•  Sound Knowledge in DB2 Databases.
•  Complete SDLC Exposure and Experience (Excellent in Change/ Release Management)
•  Understanding and Customizing complex SQL Queries and Query Building techniques
•  Excellent Troubleshooting skills and Communication Skills
•  Review processes and documentation
•  Customer Management Skills and Good Team player and help each other
•  Rexx, Selcopy, Clist, Ezytrive
•  Performance Tuning, Logging defects in QC, Endevour are added advantage.
•  Financial Accounting domain knowledge is an added advantage.

The candidate should have 3-4 years of experience, with sound knowledge on COBOL coding and DB2 Database concepts. Should have the ability to troubleshoot existing queries
