This is the third update for my logbook undergoing internship in Night Electronics for the third week.
As usual, I need to do filing for the service form that been sent by the technician, other than that, I was taught by my Head of Department on how to add job into the system. Add job means, to log cases that has been reported to the Helpdesk department whether through phone calls or email.

The above figure shows a view when a job is already added, from here we can see who is the person in charged for each of the job added, and each of it has its own job number which represent each of the job.
Each of the job that need to be add into the system requires several important details, and the details are as listed below:
- Caller name
- Username
- Location
- Phone number
- Problem
- Serial number of the product
- Model of the product
- Brand of the product
All this details are collected during the caller calls to make a report for the problem or via emails. It is required for all the details to be complete in order to make it easy to assign technician later.

A job that has been add would be assign to the technician for the technician to attend. In some cases, technician from NE are not send to do repairing, however, it requires the Helpdesk staff to call directly to the supplier for their engineer to attend, but Helpdesk staff need to follow up the case after 2 days to see whether the problem is solved or not.

When technician from NE has attend the job, or engineer for supplier company has attend, the job would be completed and the case will be closed. Therefore, it's the Helpdesk job to update the remark regarding the job and to closed it.
Week by week my task load starts to increase, i have learned more about the company through the task specification given to me. I have also had experience my self though the real working world and I can clearly see most of the things I learned in Organizational behavior class.
From doing only filing for service form, I was asked to answer phone calls, and now my Head of Department has entrusted me to add job for problem reported to my department. This is how my task goes for the week.
